Hyoung-Seok Lim joined the KIF in 2009 as a research fellow. He researches monetary policy and macroeconomic trends and outlooks in the International & Macroeconomic Finance Division. He previously worked at the Bank of Korea's Institute for Monetary and Economic Research and at the Policy Planning Bureau. His principal publications include, "Estimation and Characteristics of Korea's Yield Curve" (Korean Economic Analyses, 11(2), 2005) and “A Theory of Exchange Rates and the Term Structure of Interest Rates" (with Masao Ogaki, RCER working paper, 2003). He holds degrees from Seoul National University's International Economics Department and from Ohio State.
